Design for the protection and reuse of the Rongxin third flour mill

The old site of Fuxin No. 3 Flour Mill is located in Bangbei, Xiaoshadudi, Shanghai. In 2009, due to road construction, the original site moved 55 meters northwest, and the present address is 145 Guangfu West Road. The reconstruction first evaluates the pattern of the existing buildings, determines the construction age of each part of the structure, as a basis for demolition when displacement occurs. Secondly, according to the design principles and the environment of the base where the building is located, the final location and elevation of the building displacement are determined. Finally, on the premise of retaining the physical object of the building itself, the necessary building renewal and installation works are added.
