Lightning、Silver Block、Electric Gravel

Zhang Ruyi's works mainly focus on the hidden relationship between individual existence and the change of real environment. She is good at capturing the interactions between space, material and individual's inner consciousness, and materializing it in aesthetics.

Using the interaction between industrial scenery and daily life, the artist uses existing square pillars and cement/ceramic tile wallsto divide the space. And through with different media such as sculpture, wire, bathroom floor drain and video, she manages to create a witness to what daily life looks like after industrialization in an interactive visual language.
