Shi Hai

Shi Hai was born in Hangzhou on December 12, 1974. He has a graduate degree granted by the Department of Sculpture, China Academy of Fine Arts. He lives in Hangzhou and works in the School of Sculpture and Public Art, China Academy of Fine Arts. He serves as deputy director of the Department of Sculpture and Public Art, China Academy of Fine Arts, and presides over the public sculpture studio.

In 2006, the oil painting ""Stubborn Beauty"" showed up in the "Spirit and Character" exhibition of contemporary Chinese realistic oil painting at Shanghai Art Museum.

In 2012, a cultural exchange exhibition ""Me and Them"" was held at the International Blue Waterfront College in Provence, France.

In 2013, his works was exhibited in the ARTFRONT Shanghai Mandarin Oriental Hotel Art Project. His works "Meditation of the Sea" and "Rhyme of Light" are now collected in the hotel.

In 2014, his solo exhibition was held in Forcalquier, France. The works were collected in Sanding Blue Bank International School Library Head (Private) Emmanuelle Blue Bank International School Head (Private) France.

In 2015, his Mori's Dream showed up in Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale.

In 2016, the sculpture Sky was collected in SOHO City Square in Shanghuo Tianshan Mountain.

In 2016, 15 world-class artists invited by Fram Kitagawa participated in the public art activities of Lujiazui Harbour City. The sculpture ""Iceberg"" (2017) is collected as a public art project of the Lujiazui Harbour City.

"The Rivers and Clouds in Mountain" and "Lotus Pond and Dream Lake" (2017) are collected in Intime City, Xixi, Zhejiang.
